Truly beautiful two bedroom holiday rental apartment in the Medieval Heart of Sarlat, in the Perigord region of the Dordogne

This beautiful, spacious apartment is the first floor of a 16th century merchant’s home with high ceilings and grand windows from every room overlooking the ancient fountain in the historic Cour des Fontaines square and the laneways of Sarlat.
The town was forgotten in time and its medieval essence was preserved when it became the first recipient of the new French protection law in the 1960s – it has the highest density of listed buildings in France!
So step outside and be transported to the medieval era of sandstone passageways, golden sandstone buildings and (car-free) squares with the serene soundscape of chatter, laughter and clinking of glasses.
Rooms
Heart of Sarlat is perfect for couples or families (up to 4) with two bedrooms. The elegant queen bedroom is luxurious in gold and chocolate, with a stained-glass window onto the interior courtyard, and a window overlooking the ancient fountain in the historic square. There is also a desk, ample wardrobe space, plus extra blankets and pillows.
The second bedroom leads off from the dining area and has fold-back doors if couples prefer to open it up. It has a queen bed which can be split into two single beds and leads onto the private interior courtyard.
Enjoy the elegance and convenience of modern facilities including a living room with seating and dining areas, a bathroom with a shower and a bath and a fully functional quality kitchen, all with views from the many grand windows onto this amazing medieval town.
