LOCATION!!! Easy to find, easy check in. The apartment is large enough, high ceilings and the furniture comfortable. Heating good. Internet good. The location was perfect and easily walkable from a free car park. The property itself was decorated nicely and overlooked a beautiful square.

What an amazing part of France! We loved exploring all the little lanes and alleys in the old centre. Plus there is so much to do within an hour of Sarlat (and the parking was just a minute’s walk to the apartment). My son loved the statues around Sarlat, and we really enjoyed visiting the museums and castles. There was also canoeing on the Dordogne River! The apartment was superb, we really felt like French locals!

Fabulous location, very nice property manager/ very accommodating. We would stay there again. We loved the location and apartment décor (we had just visited Les Milandes). It's an old, charming apartment in the center of the old town. We liked the communication with the owner who emailed us suggestions for restaurants, activities, directions and free parking not too far from the property.

EXCEPTIONAL! Location was perfect in the heart of Sarlat. Apartment was spacious and had well equipped kitchen. Had a washing machine and a dishwasher in the kitchen. Free parking nearby and in October we always found a spot. Great restaurants and pastry nearby. Cute shops and fun place to walk around.

This spacious and comfortable apartment was our 'home-away-from-home' for 7 days in late September. The apartment is comfortably furnished and nicely decorated, which made it truly feel like home after a busy day in Sarlat or traveling to various attractions in the Dordogne region. We like to cook while on vacation and the amenities in the kitchen were very welcome. The location is wonderful. The apartment is located in a quiet courtyard just steps from the medieval city center. This made it easy to enjoy the old town, visit the large Saturday and Wednesday markets, and quickly get back to the apartment for lunch or rest.

The apartment was very much as depicted in the photos – an interesting old building with quirky features in the historic old town. We enjoyed the upmarket buskers in the Cour des Fontaines on jours de marchė, and the mostly French voices coming from the cafes below the window. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen reasonably well-equipped, the decor interesting with good and attractive lighting – important for those of us not in the first flush of youth! Overall we would absolutely recommend Coeur de Sarlat.

A gem of an apartment. ·The location was so quiet, and yet right in the centre of Sarlat. The attention to detail throughout the apartment was first class.

The position was excellent, so close to everything but not busy, noisy or crowded. The apartment was a good size, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was fine. Great to have a dishwasher, washing machine & dryer.
